The Lyons Parks & Grounds Department provides upgrades and provides overall maintenance for the City of Lyons Parks. During the Spring, Summer and Fall the Parks & Grounds department maintains the City Property by cutting, trimming, spraying, and fertilizing lawns. The Parks Department maintains and monitors the Pool operations as well.

The Lyons Parks & Grounds Department regularly supports organizational events such as the Cancer walk at Workman Park, Rice County Hospital Picnic at Tobias Park, The Chamber of Commerce's Spring Fish Fry and Back to School BBQ as well as the Car Show held in Workman Park. We also support the request for other events that may be held in City Parks such as birthday parties.

The Lyons City Parks and Grounds Department will continue to offer a wide variety of facilities and activities for your enjoyment.
